Sala Lieber questions certainties such as past, knowledge, and future – concealed by brilliant painting and a bold embrace of opulence, beauty, and eroticism. The decorative, playfully arabesque forms and colors are not about pleasing surfaces, but rather about developing a new visual language by drawing on the effects of the Old Masters.
