Sala Lieber

"I paint lush pictorial worlds with a touch of symbolism and irony. I draw my inspiration from the Baroque and Rococo periods and reformulate the classical elements into modern stories that contrast the joy of life and Eros with transience."

Doris Pieper
Die Glocke Lokalnachrichten 30.03.2014

"In her work, Sala Lieber develops a new style, a new visual language in her exploration of space and its boundaries, the body and its limits. The outstanding aspect of the development of her new visual language lies in the reinterpretation of familiar subjects, reminiscent of famous quotations from art history."

Kunstverein Heinsberg

"Sala Lieber questions certainties such as past, knowledge and future through brilliant painting and the courage to embrace opulence, beauty and eroticism."
