In my self-portrait, which was created in Dresden, one can clearly recognize the influence of my role models at the time, Oskar Kokoschka, Siegfried Klotz and Bernard Heisig. I studied for the first three semesters in Dresden with Professor Siegfried Klotz, with whom I have a deep appreciation both artistically and personally. The painting &#8220;The Net&#8221; was created during this time. The picture shows people trapped in a large net. They try to stretch this net and escape it.
